Two options exist when choosing Night Use Clothing.
Yellow Navy or Orange Navy clothing with reflective tape is considered to be to day and night standards, the reflective tape shows up when illuminated. Whilst the reflective tape is visible, the clothing itself does not show up very well.
In high risk areas, especially roads, the use of white cotton drill and biomotion reflective tape (2 bands on the arms and legs – more than the current Australian Standard 4602.1 2011) is becoming the accepted norm. This can be achieved by wearing a white pair of pants and shirt, or a white set of overalls.
